FAQ - Publisher
MSGIADNETWORK simplifies your business to earn money from your website. We pay for the ad space of your website, we trade it to advertisers and only the ad space is our concern.
To simplify the scenario, our method is like this: Suppose this store likes to have posters in their wall in exchange for money. We rent the whole wall (your Ad Box) of the store(your website) and rate the store (ad box rating) according to what it seems profitable to both of us. We agreed to rent their wall to 10 cents per day multiply by people passing by the store (visitors). If we have no poster on the wall no payment is made. If few posters are posted 10 cents rate decrease. Another aspects that the 10 cents a day rate may decrease or increase is the location of the store (geotargeting), the position of the wall (it may not be seen clearly), the look of the store(visual quality) or the response of the people to the poster. There will be no fixed pricing because of two important factors: The Store and Number of People passing by the store. What happen behind is that no matter how much a company pay us for a poster, renting on the store's wall depends on such criteria given.
This analogy is similar to your website as the store, your webpages is the store's wall. As you created the wall (Ad Box) it is ready to advertisements. So when you decrease the wall size(Ad Box), reposition the store(website), increase the people passing the store(visitors) and other factors, it affects the pricing (CPD).
As you established that store(website) and the wall(Ad Box) we trade it to the advertisers. As you made changes to the store(website) and the wall(Ad Box) it affects our trading process.
We have no control over your website, as we trade the ad box of your website, we anticipate the behavior of your site as you change its design, reposition the ad box or increase the ad box space etc.
Q: What is an Ad Box?
A: An Ad Box is the ad spaces on your web pages.
An ad box is pretty much what it sounds like: a box in which ads can be placed.
Publishers create and place ad boxes on their sites, which then allows advertisers to bid on these advertising spaces.
There are a few parts to every ad box:
- site information: the name and URL of the site the ad box is appearing on.
- site description: a brief description of the site's content, as well as tags describing the site.
- the size of the ad box: what kind of ads your ad box accepts, and how can fit into it at a time.
- the site rating: this tells advertisers a bit about the content that's displayed on your site.
- the ad rating: this tells advertisers about the kinds of ads you're willing to accept.
- traffic information: tells the traffic information of the ad box such as location, time, etc.
Notice the important distinction between these two ratings: the site rating tells advertisers what's on YOUR site, while the ad rating tells advertisers what kinds of ads you're willing to accept. They may not necessarily be the same thing!
Q: What size should my ad box be?
While prices on your Ad Boxes are determined by what advertisers are willing to pay, there are a few simple things you can do to make your Ad Box more attractive.
Economies rely on the system of supply and demand. If supply meets or exceeds demand, then everyone gets to buy what they want and go away happy. This is like having an ad box with 4 slots, and having 4 (or fewer) bidders. Everyone will get their ad displayed, and the going rate on the ad box will be $0.
.
So, if you see your ad box is earning lower prices than what you'd like, one thing you can do is reduce the number of advertising areas on your site. If you've got more than one Ad Box, try consolidating your ad boxes. And if you've got more than one slot in your ad boxes, try reducing the number of available slots! Conversely, if you'd like to reduce prices, adding more slots is a good way to do that.
Increasing the size of the ads displayed, and making sure the placement of the ad box is ideal on your site, also tends to attract higher price.
Q: What kind of banners do we insert on our websites?
A: You can go to your user account and there's automatic invocation code generator which produce a script or javascript codes that you must insert on your websites?
Properties of Ad Invocation Code
MSGIADNETWORK reserves the right of the publisher to control entirely his own site, therefore we ensure that we do not alter any of his website sole and intended activity. Our script or piece of code has two primary and sole contents:
- Image and Flash movie (flash with audio, flash without audio, JPEG and GIF)
- Tracking code
NO script can alter your website activity such as Popup, plugin installation, decelerate web pageload, CSS style alteration, malwares, virus, redirections etc which we consider a malpractice.
What's a publisher?
A publisher is someone who has a website, and would like to earn funds by putting advertisements on it.
At Project Wonderful, we give our publishers a simple block of copy-and-paste code, which they add to their sites where they'd like ads to appear. That's it: the rest is handled by us! The website is added to our network, and begins to attract advertisers. The publisher decides which ads he or she wants to run, and has full control over what is being displayed: any ad can be cancelled at any time.
What's "cost per day"?
We call this system "cost per day", or CPD.
In cost per day, an advertiser, is name how much they're willing to pay, per day, to have their ad on a site. We'lll show them what kind of traffic a publisher has gotten in the past, and even what others have been willing to pay, so you'll know you're getting a good deal. The publisher can also suggest their pricing but in the end we calculate it to return to a final pricing which we give the final pricing.
This cost per day is the rate at which you'll be charged. For example, if the CPD is $24 a day on a site for a full 24 hours, that will cost you $24.
CPD Pricing Formula
Ad Box Rating x AdViews/Day x Unit Price = CPD (Cost per Day)
Example: 0.86 x 5000 x $.001 = $4.30
